BLAKE AHALT
graphic designer
Born in South Korea and raised in Massachusetts, Blake graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art and Minor in Mathematics. Following graduation, he acquired over 10 years of teaching experience while living in Costa Rica, South Korea, and Thailand. Combining his teaching skills and time spent abroad, Blake is able to communicate his unique perspective with dexterity.
Blake currently maintains an active art practice while serving students who live in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles. His artistic skills and personable character foster a sense of trust within his clients. Successful projects he’s been part of include magazine covers, graphic design, brand content, commissioned work, and theater set design.
His personal projects aim to reveal the inherent value of intuitive design. Particular areas of interests focus on nature’s geometry from a microscopic to cosmic scale and the aesthetics of mathematics. While he’s not working, Blake self-practices achieving the perfect nap and is always on the lookout for A+ dank memes.
